Ashley Castañeda (She/They) is a Peruvian-American painter, illustrator, book artist, designer, and more, born and raised in Miami, Florida.
Ashley is a first-generation Rhode Island School of Design graduate earning their BFA in Illustration with a Concentration in Literary Arts and Studies. After graduating from RISD, Ashley lives in their native Miami, Florida, with their two dogs.
Clients include Art Muse LA and Miami, Brown Political Review, The College Hill Independent, and XO Magazine.
Works collected by RISD Fleet Library Special Collections, the Harvard Radcliffe Institute Schlesinger Library, and recently, the SMFA at Tufts University Special Collections at the Tisch Library.
